EXTRACTION – Our raw hemp material is extracted using supercritical CO2. CO2 (carbon dioxide) is a supercritical fluid, as it converts into a liquid form when pressurized.

Supercritical CO2 is inserted into the vessels where the plant material is stored and is pumped through a filter where it is separated from the plant matter once the pressure is released. Given that CO2 is a naturally-occurring pure chemical substance, it leaves behind no residue.
